Brief introduction of mold

1.1, practical: injection mold for thermoplastics such as ABS, PP, PC, POM, and thermosetting plastics such as phenolic plastic, epoxy plastic with rubber mold;

1.2, injection mold classification:

According to the structure: second mold, mould

According to the water: water, water, hot water outlet port. 1.3, the structure of the injection mold

A, molding parts: namely what we say normally, model CORE, is also associated with the products most closely linked parts;

B, pouring system: molten plastic from the nozzle to the cavity flow channel, can be divided into: the sprue, runner, gate, cold slug well;

C, oriented system: determine before, after the mold is combined the relative position, generally with a guide column, a guide sleeve, the top portion, also need to guide pin, guide sleeve positioning;

D, release the structure : that is, plastic parts from the mold ejector device, commonly used are: thimble, roof, Secretary extinguishers etc.;

E, temperature regulation system : in order to meet the injection molding process on mold temperature requirements, in the cavity with cooling channels;

F, side parting and side core pulling : when the plastic pieces are inverted and demoulding direction inconsistent structure must use line, common form: block, sloping roof, core-pulling;

G, exhaust structure: common exhaust form has two kinds: exhaust groove, forming parts clearance. In order to injection in the process of elimination in a cavity of the air and forming gases generated in the process, often at a parting plane set exhaust groove. Setting of the exhaust groove is the principle, without affecting the flash and the phi front, should be as large as possible exhaust groove. And inserts the needle, thimble, insert is the use of molding parts clearance exhaust.

Mold repair

Die during normal use, due to normal wear or accidents, and injection in the process of the various anomalies, are required to repair the modulo addressing.

2.2, loaded, stripping matters needing attention

A, mark: when the mold repair technicians remove guide post, Secretary extinguishers, thimble, insert, pressing blocks, especially direction requirements, must be clear in the mold of the corresponding label, in order to die when the seats. In this process, must pay attention to two points: 1, identifiers must be unique, may not be repeated;2, no marked the mold inserts, must be labeled character;

B, foolproof: in easy occurrence fault components installed for protection and guarantee in the backward mounted under the conditions of not going in;

C, put out: the parts required to tidy, screws, springs, rubber plastic boxes installed applications;

D, preservation: the core, cavity and other precision parts for protective measures, to prevent others from accidentally bumps.

2.3, repair surface note

A, machine mode: when the plastic sticky mold, dragging the flower needs to die, be ruled surface sites for protection, in order to repair. The province will be jealous of ruled surface cutting machine of light, without grasping should require stamping die repair;

B, welding: if the surface is welded, must pay attention to:1, electrode must die CORE material;2, be good tempering after welding work;

C, filling lines: when the mold repair factory repair lines when good need repair, who will need paper ruled surface protection, and mark fill line position, with fill pattern model. Etch back to factory, shall carefully check the etch surface quality, confirmed that OK can be used only for die. If the repair effects do not grasp, should try to mold confirmation of OK, before the factory s lines.

Injection mold manufacturing characteristics

The cavity and core with curved surfaces. Plastic parts of the outer and inner shape is formed by the cavity and core of direct forming, these complex three-dimensional surface processing more difficult, especially in the blind hole type cavity is formed in the surface processing, if using the traditional processing methods, not only requires high-level technical workers, the auxiliary fixture, tool, and processing of long cycle.

parts size precision requirements for IT6~7, the surface roughness Ra0.2~0.1μ m, corresponding to the injection mold parts size precision reaches IT5~6, the surface roughness Ra0.1μM. Laser disc recording surface roughness to mirror processing level of0.02~0.01 μm which requires the mold surface roughness can reach 0.01μM. The long-lived injection mold for improving efficiency and reducing cost is very necessary, the mold service life of more than 1000000general requirements. Precision injection mold with the stiffness of the frame, increase the stencil thickness, increases the supporting column or a conical positioning element to prevent mold under pressure after the deformation, sometimes inner pressure can reach 100MPa. Ejector device is the effect of deformation and the dimension precision of products is the important factor, therefore should choose the best top point, in order to make everywhere demoulding uniform. High precision injection mold structure in most of the ball-end or complete structure, which requires the mold parts of the machining accuracy, interchangeability are greatly improved.

The process is long, manufacturing time. For injection molded parts, mostly with other components form a complete product, and in many cases are in the other parts have been completed, eagerly waiting for the injection of supporting listed. Because of the product shape or size accuracy is very high, because of the different characteristics of the resin material, mold manufacturing is completed, also need to repeatedly test and correction, make the development and delivery of a very tense time.

The remote design, manufacturing. Mold manufacturing is not an end, but the final products made by the user design, mold manufacture based on user requirements, design and manufacture of molds and in most cases, products injection production in other manufacturers. This resulted in the product design, mold design and manufacture of products for different situations.

Professional division of labor, the dynamic combination. Die production of small batch, generally belongs to the single production, but requires a lot of mold standard parts, large frame, small to the thimble, these cannot only by a manufacturer alone, and the manufacturing process is complex, common equipment and CNC equipment using extremely disequilibrium.

Die manufacturing technology development direction
